Creating Bonsai From Nursery Stock - Greenwood Bonsai Studio
In this video, Corin shows you how to create beautiful bonsai trees using Nursery Stock material from nurseries. You can easily find these stock plants at your local garden centers or plant nurseries. We absolutely enjoy working with raw material and shaping it into amazing bonsai trees for the future.
We recently received some new trees at the nursery, such as Chinese Juniper, Japanese White Pine, and Japanese Black Pine 'Kotobuki'. These are just a few examples of the exciting projects we have been working on. Can't wait to share more with you all soon!

I did this course yesterday and it was just fantastic! I’m a beginner who bought a BIG tree from the nursery a few weeks back and figured I’d better learn how not to kill it! I’ve done that….and so much more. I’m confident now that I won’t kill my big tree, and I’m over the moon at what I managed to achieve will my little trees! Was petrified of wiring, but it’s really not that scary! Such a fabulous day, I might do it again! Corin you are a legend, thank you for one of the most enjoyable days ever!

Thank you for your dedicated work. It does a lot to keep many of us going and it is a good practice to be in even if our trees won’t make it to this level. I find it is the closeness to the tree over years of cultivation that matter the most to me, keeping them healthy working with them, letting them be. I also like the variety. I will plan a visit someday and check out your website. We all appreciate what you do.

Please excuse this if it’s old news to you, but the history of Pennsylvania’s name is interesting, colorful history. Literally meaning “Penn's Woods”. Wikipedia offers an comprehensive history, but in short, William Penn, the younger, “…first called the area ‘New Wales’, then ‘Sylvania’, which is Latin for ‘forests’ or ‘woods’, King Charles II changed [the name to] ‘Pennsylvania’ in honor of the elder Penn [Sir William Penn]. [86]” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Penn Might make interesting reading for you. Enjoy your stay; sorry I’m in Massachusetts. Very much enjoy and am subscribed to your channel! 🪴

we worked out how to grow the cuttings of the Deshojo ..they have very small white clear roots coming out ..we tried normal compost but they just went black and rotted ..BUT we used silver sand ( washed ) with ..BABY BIO thinned down. we diped them in a gel then planted. if the cuttings got too cold they died... had to keep them in a warm place till the roots hardened off..got loads of them after that ..turned some into bushes in tubes ..there over 38 years old now..
